What Is Return?

Author: AIVELA TeamAug 26, 2026

Sometimes your usual rhythm is no longer a reasonable standard for the life you are living now. Illness, injury, surgery, childbirth, international travel, a new work schedule, caregiving, or another major change can make ordinary goals feel irrelevant, or even burdensome.

Return is AIVELA's calmer home experience. It gives more space to context and gentle choices while measurements, scores and Rhythm continue. You can also choose it simply because you prefer that way of using the App.

Return is not a low Rhythm level. It is not a penalty, and it does not mean AIVELA has diagnosed a health condition.

You can prefer a quieter relationship with data

You do not have to justify wanting less emphasis on scores. During a difficult period, or simply because a calmer home suits you, Return gives you another way to meet the same health information. Choosing it is not giving up on understanding yourself. It is choosing how much prominence the numbers have today.

Why Return exists

There are times when you want a quieter way to engage with your health information. Body changes, travel, caregiving or ordinary preference can all make a calm home experience useful. Return offers that choice without requiring proof that you need to recover.

It changes what the home screen emphasizes, not the underlying health information or scoring rules. You may use it for a short period or stay with it because the experience suits you.

You decide whether to enter Return

The constant entry below Rhythm lets you choose Return even without a current reminder or established cycle. AIVELA can also invite you based on suitable Body Signal results, repeated final Adjustment Days, a recent phone time-zone change or a relevant Tag you confirm. A prompt is not a diagnosis and does not automatically enable Return.

Review the explanation and confirm if you want to enter. Giving a reason is optional. Automatic invitations share a daily limit, and declining does not lower a score. Manual access remains your choice.

What continues during Return

During Return What happens
Calm, Motion and Balance Continue to calculate and save under their existing rules; details remain accessible
Personal baselines Continue to follow existing update and quality rules
Days, Timeline and Tags Continue to classify, record and support editing
Rhythm Its 28-day cycle, validity rules and evaluation continue; entering or leaving does not reset it
Home experience Uses a calmer theme, an integrated summary and access to gentle activities instead of prominent score numbers

The home screen retains icons that open score details. Other pages and existing reminders continue under their own rules. Return does not freeze, improve or penalize Rhythm because you choose the mode or complete an activity.

Return does not require an old routine

You do not need to recreate earlier numbers, complete a recovery countdown or return to an old version of life. You may prefer the calmer experience while settling into a new schedule, or use it long term.

The detail offers quiet listening, guided relaxation, gentle breathing and light movement. Choose what fits and stop when you want. These are options rather than a daily completion list, and they cannot establish medical recovery.

You decide when to leave

You can leave manually from Return details whenever you want. There is no requirement to reach a score or prove that your former baseline has returned. The defined experience does not add an automatic exit prompt or a scored recovery test.

Leaving restores the ordinary home experience. It does not restart the Rhythm day count, create a new cycle or generate a separate end-of-Return review. The existing records and cycle continue.

Care is not medical care

Return is a consumer wellness experience. A suggestion to enter Return does not mean AIVELA detected an illness, and the absence of a suggestion does not rule one out. Return cannot diagnose, treat, monitor, or determine recovery from a medical condition.

If you have severe, worsening, or persistent symptoms, or believe you may need urgent help, seek appropriate medical care. Do not use Return as a substitute for professional assessment.

Return is not about getting back to who you were. It is about making room to find what is sustainable now.
