Battery Draining Fast
Battery Draining Fast
Published Date: July 28, 2026
If your AIVELA Ring is losing battery faster than expected, follow the steps below to check whether the issue is related to normal usage, battery-level reporting, or the battery itself.
1.Check Battery Life
AIVELA Ring battery life is rated at up to 7 days. Actual battery life can vary depending on the ring sizing and how the ring is used.Factors that may affect battery life include:
- Ring size
- Touch & Gesture usage
- Sport Mode usage
- SpO₂ measurement frequency
- App and firmware version
Battery capacity also varies by ring size.If your ring lasts several days but less than 7 days, this does not necessarily indicate a battery issue. If your ring’s battery life is significantly shorter than expected, continue with the checks below.
2.Refresh Battery Status
Sometimes the battery percentage shown in the AIVELA App may not update immediately.First:
- Fully close the AIVELA App.
- Reopen the app and allow the ring to reconnect and sync.
- Check the battery percentage again.
- If available, compare it with the battery level shown in your phone's Bluetooth device information.
If the battery reading still appears incorrect:
- Use Power Off for the ring.
- Place the ring in the charging case to reactivate it.
- Reconnect the ring to the AIVELA App.
- Allow the battery status to refresh.
- Check the battery level again.
If the battery continues to decrease rapidly during use, run the controlled battery test below.
3.Run a Battery Test
Use the following settings throughout the test so battery performance can be evaluated under consistent conditions.
Step 1: Update App & Firmware
Make sure both the AIVELA App and ring firmware are updated to the latest available versions. For instructions, see Update App & Firmware.Make sure your ring is connected normally before starting the test.
Step 2: Check Wear Status
Open My Ring and check the ring’s Wear Status. If Wear Status does not indicate that the ring is being worn correctly, review Wear Your AIVELA Ring before continuing the battery test.Continue the battery test after confirming that Wear Status is working normally.
Step3: Adjust Test Settings
For the duration of the test:
- Turn off Touch & Gesture
- Exit Sport Mode
- Set SpO₂ measurement frequency to Normal
Keep these settings unchanged until the test is complete.
Step 4: Fully Charge the Ring
Charge the ring to 100% or the highest level it can reach before starting the test.At the start of the test:
- Take a screenshot of the battery level in the AIVELA App.
- If available, capture the battery level shown in your phone's Bluetooth device information as well.
- Make sure the current date and time are visible or record them separately.
- Remove the ring from the charging case and wear it normally.
Do not recharge or top up the ring during the test. For charging instructions, see Charge Your AIVELA Ring.
Step 5: Track Battery Drain
Continue wearing the ring normally and record the battery level at 3–4 different times. At each checkpoint, record:
- Battery level in the AIVELA App
- Battery level in your phone's Bluetooth device information, if available
- Current date and time
Sample checkpoints can be:
- When the test begins
- Later the same day
- The following day
- Before the battery becomes critically low or the ring powers off
If the battery percentage drops suddenly, remains unchanged for an extended period, updates in large jumps, or differs significantly between the AIVELA App and your phone’s Bluetooth device information, capture screenshots showing the battery level, date, and time. These records allow battery performance to be evaluated over time rather than from a single reading.
5.When to Contact Support
Contact support@aivela.com if, after completing the controlled battery test, your ring:
- Consistently lasts less than 48 hours on a full charge under the test conditions above
- Shuts down unexpectedly while the AIVELA App still shows remaining battery
- Shows repeated or significant battery-percentage synchronization problems
A ring that consistently lasts less than 48 hours under the controlled test conditions may require further technical evaluation. If a battery hardware issue is confirmed, a replacement may be considered under the applicable warranty process.
6.Information to Provide
To help AIVELA Support review the issue, please provide:
- AIVELA account email address
- Ring serial number (SN)
- Ring size
- Phone model
- Operating system version
- AIVELA App version
- Ring firmware version
- Approximate battery life from full charge to shutdown
- Whether Touch & Gesture was enabled
- Whether Sport Mode was used
- SpO₂ measurement setting
- 3–4 sets of screenshots showing battery percentage, date, and time during the controlled test
- Bluetooth battery screenshots, if available
This information helps our support team determine the appropriate next step without asking you to repeat unnecessary troubleshooting.
